Functional Neurology takes all the concepts of clinical neuroscience that a traditional neurologist would. The difference is in how these concepts are applied. When you go to a traditional neurologist you will typically be offered options of medication for symptoms. Some patients may also be presented with the option for surgical procedures if it is an acute case and surgery is necessary. At Precision Brain Center, we do not use any medication and no invasive procedures. The treatment you will receive here is brain rehabilitation. For example, if you broke your arm and you went to rehab, you would receive more hands on types of treatments. Brain rehabilitation is what we offer at Precision Brain Center.
