Childhood Developmental Disorders & Autism Treatment

Functional Neurological Treatment with Long-Lasting Results

Successful autism treatment requires accurate and precise therapies that balance brain function and stimulates optimal neuron connections in your child’s brain. This form of functional neurological rehabilitation is specifically designed to target the affected areas of the brainstem, cerebellum and cortex which are at the root cause of developmental disorders such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Aspergers, ADHD, Learning Disabilities, Dyslexia, Tourettes, Sensory Processing Disorder, Bedwetting, Delayed Motor Skill, Behavioral Issues, and OCD.

Before any deficits in attention, behavior, higher learning, or social skills can be improved in a child, their brain’s ability to integrate sensory information and program proper motor signals must be re-calibrated through brain activation modalities.

Almost every child with a brain imbalance causing a neurodevelopmental disorder will also have issues with their motor skills making them clumsy, uncoordinated, and awkward. In some cases, this can be obviously seen in their gait, posture, and gross movements. In other cases, it is very subtle and only seen in the smoothness or accuracy of their eye movements. Other motor activities that can be affected are: vestibular (balance), posture, eye movements, primitive reflexes, fine and gross motor skills, handedness, muscle tone, rhythm and timing, and strength.

Abnormal behavior or outburst can be caused by sensory processing errors in the brain. When sensory systems such as hearing, vision, smell, taste, touch, balance, or spatial perception get integrated incorrectly in the central nervous system a child experiences disorganized and often overwhelming sensations. Abnormal neuron connections or firing patterns can be rewired and recalibrated to result in optimal brain function and synchronized communication signals. Thus eliminating the poor behavior and emotional side effects your child may be suffering from.

Our approach to remapping your child’s nervous system is by stimulating proper neuronal connections within the motor and sensory integration centers. To accomplish this we use the following specific motor exercises and sensory stimulation to produce neurological improvements in children with neurodevelopmental disorders:
